PowerPoint presentations have become a very important part of businesses. It is actually the most effective way of communicating.Therefore one should know how to make PPT and deliver then effectively in order to have a winning situation.
In order to make PPT select Microsoft PowerPoint.
You can start from background. For which select template from FILE (New) on which text and diagrams will be shown. Remember it should not be too decorative; it should be simple and looks professional.
Now select the format for the slide. For e.g. for 1st slide, there should proper space for title and sub title. You can select slide layout as required from INSERT.
Now fill the text or diagrams or videos on the PPT. Remember it should not be overloaded with text. PPTs are not a kind of the document but are only accessories to help you out in delivering your conversation
Try same procedure for each slide and lastly Slide Show from F5.
Preparing PPT is not the whole preparation for presentation. Communicating them effectively is also very important for a successful presentation .Following points should be kept in mind while presentation:
You should be dressed professionally
• Give key points only on the PPT and try to explain yourself;
• Explain in the best manner in which you can with good hold on English;
• Keep Eye contact with the audience;
• Can make presentation interactive by putting questions in between;
• Insert picture for better understanding. Avoid using them for decoration;
• Use font size that should visible all over the room;
• Use proper combination of colors of fonts and background. Sometime, background minimizes the visibility of fonts;
• Give proper ending to the presentation, it should not end abruptly.

Very general information…almost common sense i would say, nothing new.
I was hoping for more detailed information, maybe some tips (on fonts, colors, text lines, no. of slides vs. time needed for each, etc) or examples of what to do/not do in this kind of PPT. I’m disappointed.

its a good article but contains information for beginners you should also tell about the no.of slides with respect to time…….I mean if somone is presenting for 15 min what shouil be the no and what if for 50 min.
