Chena Kheer Recipe: Kheer is one of the most common Indian desserts. Every part of India has its own version of kheer. Chena is basically Bengali ingredient, so we can say chena kheer is Bengali version of kheer. It was cooked by Pankaj in Bengali cuisine challenge. It is very easy to prepare, following is a recipe of chena kheer.

Ingredients:

Chena 2 cup
Amul Clarified Ghee ½ tbsp
Amul Milk 1 liter
Sugar 4 tpsp
Amul Mithai Mate ¼ cup
Raisins 1 tbsp
Almonds( chopped) 1 tbsp
Saffron a pinch
Cardamom powder ¼ tbsp

Method:

Put little Ghee into pan. Wait for while then add chena. Roast it for while.

Now add milk. Keep stirring till milk gets boil. Now add sugar and amul mithai mate .Keep stirring it

Now at last add finely chop raisins, almonds, cardamom powder. Put off flame and garnish it saffron.

Kheer is ready!!

Keep Remember:

Kheer can be served as hot ( above 60 degree) or cold ( below 5 degree). So choice is yours served it as you want, but be careful about temperature.
